A news article about the giant straw Yule Goat in Gavle, Sweden lead to a an idea which lead to a sketch and finally this little figure. I'm torn between leaving it as it is, or decorating it somehow. Recycled Eastern White Pine, unfinished, 2021.

Pine Tree Studios: Robin Edward Trudel got his start in woodcarving in 1991 when a co-worker gave him a carving knife and encouraged him to carve a mushroom. Shortly after completing his first piece, he discovered and joined the New England Wood Carvers eventually serving as president for three years.
