This original design was made in a 3d modeling program.  Carved from a single piece of cherry harvested in Southern New Hampshire, it hung over the doorway into our living room until it was accidentally knocked off its hanger. 2000  Cherry Wax finish

  In the late 90s I experimented with soapstone and alabaster sculpture.  Forgive the poor image quality, these images were obtained using one of the earliest commercially available digital cameras. Note that Nessie's eyes were made from flecks of garnet from a mountaintop in southern New Hampshire <1998 Soapstone and garnet Wax finish

  This carousel style rocking horse was one of my first commissions over $100.  The patron bought it as a gift for a woman he would later marry.  The image is a scan from a polaroid, the finest technology the mid-1990s had to offer. <1998 Basswood (horse), maple (rockers), leather tack, and rhinestones.
