Sacre-coeur after Louis Jobin


 

Louis Jobin was the sculptor-in-residence at Ste-Anne-de-Beaupre in the early 1900s.  I love his work and I have immense gratitude to Marius Barbeau for his research and careful cataloging of this artist.

The heart is carved from ecologically harvested jacaranda acquired from Rio Rivuma in Boston, MA
